Hey hey! I’m Beth! The woman behind BB Quinn Photography. I thought I’d stop in here and say hi. Also, I’d like to introduce myself for those of you whom I haven’t met yet. You are getting to know a lot about the business that is my heart and soul, so I figured I’d let you in on a little bit about me!
I’m so excited about Spring!
I just love transitional seasons. (Here’s lookin’ at you fall!) In Indiana, it is the perfect time of year where it’s a little cold, but the sun is out. Plus! Spring means flowers + new growth! I’m a crazy plant lady and have 16 different species of plants in my house. I can not stop! This past weekend I loaded up my dog, cranked on some 80’s music, and hit up the blind school for their seasonal plant sale. (Of course I check every plant online to make sure they aren’t toxic to my fur babes.)
Hitting the gym.
I’m not by any means a gym rat. I will walk on the treadmill at an incline of 9 at 2.5mph and walk for about 30 minutes where I zone out to podcasts. But, hey at least I’m there.
I'm the Queen of Wishful Thinking (When it comes to shoes.)
We had a few days where I tried to get away with wearing sandals. The sun is really misleading. I’ll open the windows and throw on my favorite birks and as I’m walking out the door I have to re-think my shoe choices. Here’s to wishful thinking!
Bullet Journaling. OH MY LANTA!
I’ve always kept a journal/sketchbook. I recently had a client show me the magical world of bullet journals. There is always something that needs to be tracked + photos to be taken. I’m not much of a sketcher any more, but I love using my Polaroid zink + my instax cameras to add extra flair to my book.
Hawaii - We’re leaving with our friends for two weeks! The first, will be in Maui and the second in Kona. I’ve always dreamed about going + now it’s actually happening!
Building an Empire.
Raise your hand if you are obsessed with the Gaines + their Magnolia empire. (Guilty!) Something that I find fascinating about Joanna is that she has all of these branches of Magnolia from design lines, paints, home flipping, bakery, silos, bed and breakfast + more. That it makes me want to pursue all of the things that I’ve wanted to create inside + outside of my industry. Starting in April, I’m launching a pet portrait business alongside Amy from Indy Family Photo, a women’s networking group, + I will be co-hosting a podcast with Tiffany from Tagd Studio.
I would love to hear from you! What are some of your favorite travel locations? What are your favorite things to do in the spring? Do you bullet journal? I would love to talk to you about it! Leave a comment below!
