The other day I received the following message from a concerned participant of Raw Beauty. She said,
“...gotta admit little hesitant. I don’t want to see some crazy photoshopped version of myself as a before or after version of a dangerous beauty gadget. But your art is beautiful and would like an opportunity to be a part of what sounds to be an interesting project.”
I’m sharing this, because I want you to know that this is not what I would ever envision for anyone’s session. When I say magazine or editorial it’s coming from a place of love + empowerment. The women you see in those images reflect their personality, their beauty, and their power. I’m coming from more of a Serena Williams and Gwyneth Paltrow perspective. Not as a glossed over model for a major fashion brand. I do work with models from time to time, and even then I still don’t do much Photoshop work. It is my goal to keep you as real as you can be. I want to show you how beautiful you truly are.
