Studio Policies

Welcome, gorgeous!
I’m so excited that you’ve chosen to celebrate yourself with a boudoir experience. My goal is to make this empowering, fun, and stress-free from start to finish — and that starts with clear expectations for both of us.

By booking your session or submitting payment, you acknowledge that you’ve read, understood, and agree to the following studio policies.

Retainers & Payments

A non-refundable retainer is required to reserve your session date. Your date is not officially booked until the retainer is received.
The retainer is applied toward your total balance. This may or may not include hair and makeup services.
The remaining balance must be paid no later than your time of booking unless you’re on an approved payment plan.
All payments are non-refundable. This protects the time and preparation that goes into each session.
This only excludes gifted sessions or portfolio building sessions.

Rescheduling & Cancellations

Life happens! If you need to reschedule, please notify me at least 14 days in advance.
Your retainer can be transferred one time to a new date within 90 days of your original session.
Reschedules made with less than 14 days’ notice or no-shows will result in loss of the retainer and require a new one to rebook.
Cancellations forfeit all payments made.

Session Day

Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your session time and ready to shoot at your scheduled start time. Late arrivals may reduce your session time to stay on schedule.
If you’re more than 30 minutes late without notice, the session may be considered a no-show.
Professional hair & makeup (if included) will begin promptly — please arrive with a clean, moisturized face and dry hair.
We like to keep you excited and surprised for your viewing and ordering appointment, therefore, we don't do any "sneak peeks".

Image Reveal & Orders

Your image reveal & ordering appointment will take place within 1–2 weeks of your session.
All product and image sales are final due to the custom nature of photography products.
Payment plans are available, but images and products are only delivered after final payment is completed.
Digital files, albums, and wall art are created with your approval — once ordered, no changes or refunds can be made.

Image Usage & Privacy

Your privacy matters. Images are never shared publicly without your written consent.
If you choose to sign a model release, it allows me to share your images on social media, my website, or in studio displays. This is always optional and separate from your booking.
If no release is signed, your session remains 100% private.

Client Responsibility

Please read all prep guides and communications sent before your session. You can find the Boudoir Prep Guide Here
Be sure to arrive with wardrobe, accessories, and anything else you’d like photographed.
Remember: your experience and confidence are built through trust, communication, and preparation — we’re a team in this!

Product Resolution and Product Refund Policy

Product Resolution

We do not make changes to custom cover fabrics or colors after your viewing and ordering appointment.

Upon receiving your portrait products:
- If there’s damage to your product please send the following information
- Photos of the product from above, below, right, and left.
- Email images and details to bb@bbquinnphotography.com
- We’ll review your request and respond via email within 5-7 business days.
If damage to the product appears self-inflicted the request will be denied. We work very closely with our print lab in ensuring quality in the creation of your print products. This includes shipping as well.

Refund Policy

Due to the custom nature of your portraits, all sales are final.

Here at BQS, we will not tolerate hate speech, bully behavior, verbal and physical abuse, or harassment of any kind. If we are met with any responses with the aforementioned above, we have the right to refuse your business at any time.

Final Note

This experience is all about you. These policies exist to protect your time, the photographer's time, and the care that goes into creating something truly special.

By booking your boudoir session and submitting payment, you agree to these terms and understand that all retainers and payments are non-refundable.
