When you love horses, you want the best for them—and that’s exactly what drives Morgan Fields, the heart behind Elevated Saddlefit, LLC. As an independent saddle fitter based in Hobart, Indiana, Morgan's mission is simple: help horses move more freely, comfortably, and pain-free by improving their saddle fit.

What Is Elevated Saddlefit?

Elevated Saddlefit focuses on ergonomic saddle fitting for both horse and rider. Morgan offers in-depth evaluations that go beyond basic saddle placement. She walks horse owners through the anatomical structures involved, explains what to look for, and discusses the behavioral issues that can arise when saddles create discomfort or pain.

But Morgan’s role doesn’t end at the barn door. Clients get ongoing support, video resources when they have concerns, and follow-up fittings at a reduced cost—especially helpful during saddle trials or when adjustments are needed. It’s a full-circle approach rooted in education, empathy, and care.

How It All Began: A Passion Born from a “See and Say”

Morgan's passion for horses started early—thanks to a childhood toy that taught her that horses say "neigh." From collecting Breyers to volunteering at therapeutic riding centers in college, she found every way possible to be around horses.

But it wasn’t until 2019, when she brought home her own real-life "Black Beauty" named Brees, that her lifelong love evolved into a career. A suggestion from her trainer opened the door to saddle fitting—and she hasn’t looked back since.

“Once I learned all of the issues that arise from ill-fitted saddles, I couldn't let horses continue to suffer in silence.”

The Elevated Experience: What Clients Are Saying

One thing that sets Morgan apart is her educational approach. Clients consistently express appreciation for the time she takes to explain what she sees, feels, and recommends. She even invites them to feel it for themselves—empowering horse owners to become active participants in their horse’s well-being.

“I’ve been told this approach is comforting—and that they didn’t feel like I was a used car salesman.”

Serving the Entire State of Indiana

Elevated Saddlefit is fully mobile, offering on-site evaluations and fittings across all of Indiana. There’s no storefront—just one passionate horsewoman with the knowledge, tools, and dedication to make a real difference.

Service Highlight: Don’t Forget the Bodywork

Switching to a well-fitted saddle is a game changer—but Morgan reminds clients that a better saddle won’t erase the damage done by a poor one. That’s why she always recommends equine bodywork following a fitting adjustment.

“A better-fitting saddle can’t undo the discomfort of the previous one. Call your bodyworker!”
