Who is someone you look up to? Comment below.
I love to hear these types of stories. I have one for you about the man who I look up to.
The other day I decided to treat myself and buy Peter Lindbergh's "Shadows on the Wall." It's a coffee table book about the women that he has photographed throughout his career. (Of course! He's a black and white photographer!)
I look up to him, because in the hay day of his fashion photography career, (He photographed a lot of the images that you see of Cindy Crawford, Noami Campbell, and other super models from the 90's) He loved photographing women without makeup, which was taboo for the time.
"If photographers are responsible for creating or reflecting an image of women in society, then I must say, there is only one way for the future, and this is to define women as strong and independent. This should be the responsibility for the photographers today: to free women and finally everyone from the terror of youth and perfection." -Peter Lindbergh
He passed away the day before I was to see him speak at a portrait photography conference that I was attending. Missed you by one day, Peter. Maybe we'll meet in the next life.

We encourage you to grab a glass of wine or sparkling cider, hang out for awhile, and check out what the journal has to offer!
