Fearless means stepping into your power no matter what judgment may come your way. It was important to me to show that there is beauty in being fearless with your body no matter what age or body type. Take a deep breath and remember that we are all afraid in the battles we face. Fearless means doing things that actually scare you and realizing you didn’t need to be scared in the first place.

For me, it’s going out there and not putting on a mask for people. Being fearless is being true to yourself, here I am. You can take it or leave it, but I’m happy as the person I am. I’ve wanted to do a photo shoot for a while, and when the opportunity arose to present it in a way to help other women choose themselves every day, I couldn’t turn it down. Fearless means that you’re no longer afraid to be yourself. I’ve been afraid of being myself and afraid of what people think about me and I don’t want to do that anymore. Life is too short and I just want to let it go. This is me! You can like it or not! 

Fearless means no inhibitions to fear anything. I wanted to do this photo shoot for this experience, but mostly to be a part of this exhibition that’s empowering advanced women that aren’t always 20 years old and beautiful by social standards.

Fearless means having confidence in yourself. Not being scared of anything, which I’m not! I did this photo shoot to celebrate turning 60. The last 17 years being on my own, living on my own, being at the wrong addresses if you get what I mean. I have been taking care of my mother throughout some of those years.

The women who participate in the series share their struggles that they have overcome and now they’re celebrating, sharing, and inspiring their stories for those who are currently going through a struggle of their own to show that there is light on the other side. I’m about a year late making this post. But, better late than never! About last year at this time Rowan and Jake were about to become first time parents. Rowan is my cousin who feels more like a sister than anything. She’s patient, kind, nurturing, and quiet. But that quietness is her super power. On November 9th Bethany Quinn Studios celebrated the gala and gallery style exhibition of the year for Fearless  where 37 women exhibited images from their boudoir session and shared their tales of courage. I (Bethany) was completely blown away by the event and so excited to see all the participants in one place in black tie attire with their partners and friends. It was also so cool to introduce the participants to each other resulting in friendships that they never thought

This girl. Seriously. She was SO fun and killed her sessions with me. She came in full of curiosity and left feeling like a goddess! Her husband surprised her by signing up for her first session. She joined the 2021 Boudoir Influencer Program: Girls of Summer where she worked with me for six months by getting photographed and sharing her experiences with other women who were just as curious as she was when she started out.
